Over the years - well, in fact, since I was 11 years old, actually, I have been playing recorded music for peoples' (and my
own) enjoyment.
I was a mobile DJ and entertained in the UK before 1985 (the year I came to Asia), and since then in Hong Kong, China (Guangzhou,
Shanghai & Chonqing[Chungking]), Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Of course, in Hong Kong I worked in many venues - in Hotels particularly, and have been called upon to MC as well as be the
DJ. I have been MC for functions as diverse as Golf Clubs, Yacht Clubs, Weddings, Barmitzvahs, Birthdays, New Years', Retirement
parties and just about any occasion you can think of - I've been at so many parties that I haven't actually been invited to
- but always end up being one of the most popular people there!!!
